Humanism and War
Humanism and war just do not mix. However, it is only when these two pillars intersect that one can begin or cease.
When Humanism fails war prevails. We all like to avoid such extreme pleasures as war. Sometimes it comes inevitably. This is the point where intersection of humanism and war comes into play. Humanism by the foundation is our core. As a species. We are obliged to preserve ourselves and ones that surround us. At some point being just mammals. We feel threatened or to be more precise, we feel more in danger. That’s when war prevails. It comes at a time when we think that, we like resources power and all those things that treat and our brains.
We are obligated to protect ourselves and others around us. Being reduced to the status of mammals at some time. We feel intimidated, or more precisely, more in risk. That is when war reigns supreme. It arrives at a time when we believe that we value riches, power, and all of the things that benefit us and our minds.
However war — is rarely a solution, if we would look back in time, such characters like Chiune Sugihara. He was a Japanese diplomat back in WW2 stationed in Lithuania. He acted all against the regime, all against the rules, which for him, as a Japanese person is very far from common to do so.
It’s necessary to deviate from the rules in order to achieve success. Something better to reach the humanism that we all aspire for but sometimes fail to accomplish.
And this was the point, when the humanism won, his gut feeling made him believe that he’s doing the right thing and at the time he was questioned a lot for sure.Maybe even questions himself a lot. However, his beliefs, and his good, spirit prevailed, he has saved hundreds and thousands of people, he might have even contributed changing the war order all together. These times also call for characters, like Chiune Sugihara to act.
It’s necessary to deviate from the rules in order to achieve success. Something better to reach the humanism that we all aspire for but sometimes fail to accomplish.
No matter where we are and what we do. We are responsible for things that happen in this global society. One should act and act peacefully to make a change. Sometimes to make this change to act against the rules against everything. Something better to achieve that humanism that we all strive for and sometimes forget
I wish that we all would just sit down and think for a minute, what we would like to see in our future. In couple of years in 10 years and 15 years. If we will, let all of this anger, brutality, spread and grow. How much can it grow in the future ? If it is not being stopped on time. All want to see our children and grandchildren and grand grandchildren going forward.
In a massacres where lands can be taken, where homes can be destroyed? Were even freedom can be taken away. Need to ask ourselves, as without doing anything, do we just watch and let them take over this world, land by land and person by person.
Where even freedom can be revoked. We must ask ourselves if we are simply watching and allowing them to take over the planet, country by land and person by person, without doing anything.
I am a firm believer that we can have a significant effect on the globe, beginning with our own cells.
